Robert Woodruff Jr.
President
Bob Jr. joined Woodruff Energy after graduating in 1993 from the University of Delaware with a BSBA in Agricultural Business. He became co-president with his father, Bob Sr., in 2006 and president in 2009, and is the fifth generation of Woodruffs leading the company. His leadership brought Woodruff Energy into the propane, diesel and natural gas markets. In the community, Bob Jr. is on the board of directors of First National Bank of Elmer, treasurer of the Marlton Recreation Association board, founder of the Woodstown Heat Baseball Club, and vice-president of the Fuel Merchants Association of New Jersey. He lives in Pilesgrove, NJ, with his wife, Jennifer, and children, Kathryn, Robert III and Benjamin.
Andrew Ficarra
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew came to Woodruff Energy as CFO in 2018 with an extensive background in all areas of finance and management. His most recent work involved financial forecasting, decision support analysis and recommendation guidance to help track progress and meet organizational goals. An active CPA, Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA from Wilmington University. He lives with his wife and sons, Roman and Dominic, in Middletown, DE.
Shawn Applegate
Vice-President, HVAC Service and Installation
Derrick Shawn Applegate joined Woodruff Energy in November 2013 as the General Manger of our HVAC service and installation departments. Shawn has been instrumental in the reorganization and development of a strong, qualified HVAC department. He brings with him 22 years of HVAC experience in both the residential and commercial fields. Shawn holds a master HVAC license with the State of New Jersey. One of Shawn’s prize accomplishments is having been the supervisor of the HVAC team on Extreme Home Makeover, for a home project in Camden NJ. Shawn resides in Hopewell with his wife, Tara and his three sons, Shawn, Dalton, and Zach. When away from work he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Bob Petracci
Vice-President, Natural Gas Operations
Bob joined Woodruff Energy in 1996 to help start up the natural gas department. He later served as director of operations, overseeing the growth of the natural gas division and is now vice-president of that division. He remains active in all sales and marketing efforts. Bob holds a marketing degree from Robert Morris University. He lives in Egg Harbor Township with his wife, Riki, and three children, Allie, Robbie and Angelina. He has served as a board member of the Egg Harbor Township Baseball Association, where he coached for many years. In addition to serving in other organizations, Bob is an avid runner.
Danny Dilks
Vice President, Bulk Plant Operations
Danny Dilks joined the company in 1998 when he started as a part time fuel oil driver. In 2001, Danny was promoted to bulk plant manager. Danny oversees all operations out of our bulk plant including diesel & gasoline deliveries, vehicle maintenance, vehicle loading and unloading and much more. Danny works side by side with his father, Max, who has worked for Woodruff Energy since 1987. Danny currently resides in Hopewell Township with his wife, Jennifer, and their 4 children Danny Jr, Jake, Addie, and Rhett. In his free time, Danny enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports.
Staci Rammel
General Manager, Propane Operations
Staci came to Woodruff Energy in 2014 as propane and marketing coordinator. Since then, she has played an instrumental role in the rapid growth of our propane division, using her extensive knowledge of the propane industry as well as her marketing experience. She attended West Chester University and has a strong background in corporate training and customer service. She serves on the board of directors for the New Jersey Propane Gas Association. Staci lives in the Bridgeton area with her husband, Matthew, and daughters, Erin and Brynn.
